In Honduras, the Mag+s experiences will be held in six parishes in which the pilgrims will have the opportunity to participate in conversations about the national and local reality, interact with local families, participate in the daily labor of rural Honduras, and come into contact with the natural beauty. Additionally, pilgrims will meet up with local orgazinations that are working to defend natural resources and oppose both the explotation of minerals and commercial deforestation. In Progreso, the Ignatian youth will make a pilgrimage to the popular shrine that holds the image of Christ of Esquipulas, and they will participate in theater workshops at the La Fragua Theater. Other pilgrims will join in activities at local nursing homes, centers for children with disabilities, clinics of alternative medicine, health centers and schools.
